  4. What languages ​​do the guides speak?
    1. Mainly Norwegian and English. For special needs and reasonable notice, we can offer guides in some other languages.

Booking and payment

  1. How do I book tickets?
    1. Book online via the website, or contact us by phone/email for group bookings.
  2. Do you accept payment by card and Vipps?
    1. Yes, online card payment, Vipps and invoice for approved companies/groups.
  3. Can I cancel or change my booking?
    1. Cancellation policies vary by tour type; standard: free cancellation up to 48 hours before, then a partial/full refund according to the terms. Check our terms when booking.
  4. Will I get a refund for a cancelled tour from you?
    1. Yes, if we cancel, you will receive a refund per our terms or the option to rebook.

Groups and events

    1. Yes, we offer tailor-made packages for groups and events. Contact us for quotes and availability.
  2. Is it possible to combine boating with accommodation or activities on land?
    1. We work with local operators for packages. Ask us when booking.

Practical information

  1. How long do the tours last?
    1. Our most common tour is a two-hour fjord cruise to Kjøsnesfjorden. Other tours with different lengths and content can be arranged by appointment.
  2. When should I show up before departure?
    1. Please meet at approx. 10 minutes before departure for check-in and life jacket fitting.
  3. Where can you get on and off the boats?
    1. Departure is usually from Jølster Panorama Camping or Skei City Marina, depending on the tour and arrangement. For tailor-made tours, another suitable location can be arranged.
  4. Where can I park?
    1. Jølster Panorama Camping: parking inside the area, at the campsite's marina. Skei City Marina: parking at Grand Hotel Skei.
  5. What happens in case of bad weather?
    1. We follow the company’s weather and sea safety assessment. The tour may be postponed, changed or cancelled; you will be notified and offered a rebooking or refund. You must be dressed for possible weather changes.

Equipment and clothing

  1. What should I wear and what should I bring on the trip?
    1. Dress in layers, wear windproof and waterproof outerwear, and choose shoes with good grip. Sunglasses and sunscreen.
  2. Can I bring my own fishing/photo equipment?
    1. Yes, but there is limited space on the boats, so please let us know about larger equipment when booking.

    1. We follow local and national guidelines for nature conservation, minimise emissions and protect nature and wildlife. We encourage guests not to leave trash in nature.
  2. How do you treat wildlife and nature?
    1. We maintain a safe distance from wildlife, follow national and local regulations and inform guests about respectful behaviour.

  1. Who is the tour suitable for?
    1. Most tours are suitable for all adults and children. Some tours may be less suitable for people with limited mobility - see tour-specific requirements.
  2. Are there life jackets on board?
    1. Yes, all sizes of flotation devices are available and must be used according to the crew’s instructions.
  3. Is it possible to swim from the boat?
    1. Yes, under certain circumstances and at your own risk. Please contact the crew for information.
  4. What do I do if I get seasick?
    1. Please let the crew know so we can adjust the tour.

Accessibility and facilities

  1. Is there food on board?
    1. There is usually no food on board, but we can offer various types of food by arrangement. It is possible to bring your own food and drinks if you wish.
  2. Is there a toilet on board?
    1. No, there is no toilet on board, but we have access to toilet facilities on land.
  3. Can I bring children and strollers?
    1. Children are welcome, and we have floatation equipment for infants and up. Strollers can be brought, but it depends on the boat's space; storage may be limited. It is possible to lock up strollers and belongings on land.
  4. Can I bring animals on board?
    1. Yes, if it is a private trip for your group. For open trips, this must be clarified with the other guests regarding allergies, fear of animals, etc.
  5. Are the boats wheelchair accessible?
    1. Boats and docks are generally not suitable for wheelchair users. Contact us, and we will look at possible solutions.
